(Detail story of Shiv Parvati marriage)

When Shiva and Parvati were about to get married, a very beautiful event happened. Their marriage was taking place on a grand scale. There had never been such a marriage before. Shiva - who was the most stunning god in the world - was about to make another goddess a part of his life. The biggest and the smallest people attended their wedding. All the gods were present there, as well as the demons also reached there.

Shiva is Pashupati, which means he is the god of all living creatures, so all animals, insects, and all living beings were present in his marriage. Even ghosts, vampires, and deranged people came as guests in marriage. It was a royal wedding; a princess was getting married, so there had to be an important ceremony before the wedding ceremony.

The lineage of both the bride and the groom was to be declared. For a king, his lineage is the most important thing, which is the pride of his life. So the genealogy of Parvati was celebrated with great pomp. This went on for some time. At last, when he had finished describing the pride of his lineage, he turned to the place where the groom Shiva was sitting.

All the guests waited for someone to get up from the groom's side and speak about the pride of Shiva's lineage, but no one uttered a word. The bride's family wondered, 'Is there no one in his family to stand up and tell about the greatness of his lineage?' But there was none. No one from the groom's parents, relatives or family had come there because there was no one in his family. He had come only with his companions, ganas who looked like deformed creatures. He could not even speak human language and made strange dissonant sounds. They all seemed intoxicated and in strange states.

Then Parvati's father Daksha requested Shiva, 'Please tell me something about your lineage.' Shiva sat silently looking somewhere in the void. He was neither looking at the bride nor was he showing any enthusiasm about the marriage. The people of the society, the noble king-maharajas, and pundits looked at Shiva with great hatred and immediately the whispering started, 'What is his lineage? Why is it not speaking? Maybe its family is from a lower caste and it is ashamed to tell about its lineage.

Then Narada Muni, who was present in that meeting, raised his Veena and kept on pulling only one string of it. As he continued to play the same tune, Parvati's father, Daksha, annoyed, lost his temper, 'What the hell is this? We want to hear about the lineage of the groom but he is not saying anything. Should I marry my daughter to such a man? why are you making this annoying noise? Is this an answer?' Narada replied, 'The groom does not have parents.' The king asked, 'Do you mean to say that he does not know about his parents?' 'No, he doesn't have parents. He has no legacy. He has no gotra. It does not have anything. He has nothing but his own. The whole assembly was stunned. Daksha said, “We know people who do not know about their father or mother. Such an unfortunate situation can happen. However, everyone is born of something. How can it be that no one has any father or mother?

Narada replied, 'Because he is self-proclaimed. He has created his own. He has neither father nor mother. He has no ancestry, no family. He does not belong to any tradition or does He has any state. He has neither any gotra nor any constellation. No lucky star protects them. He is beyond everything. He is a yogi and his whole existence is a part of him. There is only one lineage for him, sound. When the void nature came into existence, the first thing that came into existence was sound. He has his first expression in the form of a sound. It first appeared as a sound. Before that it has nothing. That is why I am pulling this wire.

After this, Sati's father Daksha did not want to marry his daughter to Lord Shiva, but this marriage was completed at the behest of Brahma ji. One day King Daksha insulted Lord Shiva, due to which Mother Sati committed suicide by jumping into the Yagya. After this incident, Lord Shiva got absorbed in penance. Then through intercession, the Lord again obtained his wife.
